Hi I am enjoying the course and it’s given me a clear understanding of how my overlocker works and how I can use it.
Please can you answer a question about needles? It sounds like you have to use specific needles for an overlocker. What about when you sew with jersey? Do you use the same ballpoint needles you would use with a sewing machine? Or are there special jersey needles for the overlocker? Thanks Ruth
Hi Ruth,
Usually, an overlocker will just use standard needles and won’t need a jersey or knit needle, as your sewing machine will. The best thing to do is to check your machine or your manual and the manufacturer will recommend the best needles for the machine. There are no special overlocker needles that we know of.

You can find your downloads in the ‘Account’ section of the website. Just login and click on Account and you will find links to your classes and downloads. Hope this helps but if you need anything else please just let us know.
