You may know that there is nothing I love more than spending some time hand-sewing English Paper Piecing quilts. There is something really relaxing about EPP. Sewing all those little hexagons together is so calming.
It can also be a really good way to recycle those old scraps and leftover bits of fabric. I particularly love making beautiful quilts from leftover scraps, using up every single little piece is so satisfying!

Finishing off your quilt
I am delighted to bring you a new tutorial showing you how to finish off your EPP top. This will take it from being a simple quilt top and make it into a beautiful quilt.
Do you have an English Paper Piecing Quilt semi-finished? If so, I hope this gives you some inspiration to get it finished! I would love to see your quilts so please send me pictures of your beautiful makes.
My rainbow quilt
I have sewn a fair few English Paper Piecing quilts in my time and I’m still going. It has become a habit with me, something I find very meditative and relaxing. Wherever I am, there is always a little bag of hexagons next to where I sit on the sofa. Believe it or not, I have even been known to take it on holiday with me!
I am currently sewing a solid color rainbow quilt out of small 3/4″ hexagons. It may end up being my favorite one yet!. My preferred method of sewing EPP is always to sew randomly.
